Are You Making these 11 Catastrophic Blogging Mistakes?

I have made a series of serious mistakes as a blogger. Heck I know no one immune to making major blogging mistakes. Even the most disciplined, focuses bloggers get too giddy and do dumb stuff :) We have all been there.

So I decided to write a guest post for one of India's top blogs, shoutmeloud.com and I feel so grateful to Harsh for extending the kind opportunity to me. This is my 2nd post on SML and lemme tell you, when you are writing for one of the top blogs in one of the 2 most populous countries on earth you will see a serious traffic spike.

Living my dream has been contingent on being honest with myself. Like, the internet lifestyle fell into place when I recognized I was making these 11 errors. I am still learning. Always will be. Because successful bloggers address blogging mistakes day after day, because hey, we are human and even after seeing some success we mess up.

Like me, I posted like a madman for about a month. 1 problem; nobody was around to read my posts. I networked little and posted a lot. Bad combo to influence people and make connections. Honestly addressing this massive mistake changed my life in a major league way....and my blogging career too.

So, without further adieu, let's dive into my post, shall we?

4 Easy Online Businesses to Start

Are you entirely lost? I remember my first day researching easy online businesses to start. I had little money. I had zero experience. I was a wreck. After a few hour's worth of research I took a deep breath.

Then I realized this: going the easy route wins. No, no easy online business exists but easy online businesses to start do exist. The ventures require little to no capital and ease of start up on the technical side. Once started these opps need to be worked. Hardcore. Success follows intelligent, focused actions. Success follows persistent actions. Success follows self-starting, hungry, focus entrepreneurs.

The intent of this article is to share 4 easy online businesses you can start quickly. No or little money needed. Little technical knowledge to get the business off the ground. Then, you need to inject the serious, dedicated, focused work. Then the fun begins.

I remember the first day I started to prosper online. Or at least the first day spent setting up my business venture. I flipped. It all seemed too much to me. I bit off more than I could chew. After calming down and focusing on what mattered most - after struggling for a long time - I finally discovered that simple works.

Starting an easy to begin, simple business model works best. No countless hours spent trying to re-invent the wheel, or to force your will on a venture. Nope. You can succeed by pursuing easy online businesses to start. Then, start the venture. Then, create value and increase your connections on a daily basis. Simple, easy, peasy, straightforward.

The Monstrous Problem

Most people have little confidence. Businesses become tough to start because you decide not to start a business. You delay, or stammer, or worry and put off what you should be doing now. Start today. Learn on the run. Or if you already have the skills to be a ghostwriter, or to generate ad revenue, start the damn business now.

I have studied billionaires who knew little yet earned a massive fortune developing their street smarts and I have also studied broke, miserable talented people who lacked the balls to start a venture. You do, or you do not. Problems arise when you do not and dreams come true when you do.

1: Start a Blogger Blog

Go to blogger.com and set up a blog. It might take a few minutes to do so. From here you can monetize quickly through vehicles like Google Adsense. Hands down, running a valuable blog can move you from zero to hero pronto. People want value. Serve it up through your blog. People want solutions to problems. People want benefits. Serve, benefit and solve by running a content rich blog.

Starting the business is easy. Sign up for a blog. Then once you took the easy start route follow a professional blogger. A helpful guy or gal. Learn the in's and out's of your niche of choice and also learn the in's and out's blogging. This is not always easy. Sometimes you will struggle like hell. But at least you will avoid the binary this and matrix that style stuff which overwhelms most online entrepreneurs. Save your energy for creating something useful, not for trying to understand some business model.

Spend more time at the beach. Like me, here in gorgeous Hidden Beach just South of Jimbaran, Bali.

Cost to Start: 0

2: Set Up a Google Adsense Campaign

This one is easy on the front end. Simply register for an Adsense account. If you have created some content on your blog you can get approved quickly. Then link up to your bank account and collect checks.

After you start with your Adsense campaign learn the details behind what makes a successful plan. Stay on topic. Use SEO to target readers and pique the interest of advertisers. Put the time and energy necessary into learning your craft. Test and tweak. Yep, the world part.

But starting is a piece of cake. Sign up for an account. Then, bingo, you get approved - and you should - or you get rejected. If you get rejected simply appeal. You should get approved on the first try.

Cost to Start: 0

3: Affiliate Marketing

Sign up as an affiliate marketer. Sell products relevant to your niche. The products can be ebooks, boot camps, apps, tools, whatever. Make your niche and the product a match to see sales. Affiliate marketing is one of the truly easy online businesses to start because you fork down no money and after applying you will usually be approved.

The start up costs are zero and of course, it takes little effort to post an advertisement on your site. The work part consists of writing detailed, in depth reviews for your readers. Learning the benefits of the product and stressing the benefits, or dreams, your proposed customer can experience through your copy writing skills. Becoming a wordsmith takes time and energy. Starting an affiliate marketing gig takes little.

Cost to Start: 0

4: Offering Your Services

Hi I am Ryan Biddulph. I can save you time and energy by writing content for you. I can write your posts. You can prosper on auto pilot. Click the following link to learn more:

Hire Me

It took me 15 seconds to write the last 4 lines. As easy as it gets.

The work part: developing your skills. Becoming an adept writer, or social media user, or whatever you can bring to the table, does take time. But starting the business - aka - opening the income channel takes moments.

Cost to Start: 0

Disclaimer

Each business is easy to start, meaning you can open open a channel through which money flows to you easily. Then you gotta prime the pump. This can be difficult. The ads are on your site. Your ghostwriting hire page is posted. Now hit the cyber street, make connections and provide value through blog posts, emails and newsletters to succeed.

Money responds to the value you provide and the size and support of your network. Opening an income stream is a piece of cake. Coaxing income through the stream takes time, energy, intelligent work and persistence.

"Easy to start" does not mean "easy to finish" but it does mean that with effort, you can eventually make money easily through these channels. The focus of today's post was to boost your confidence so you can get your online business up and running quickly.

Do you have any other easy online businesses to start?

9 Reasons Why You Need to Join Triberr

Ok I admit it. I know Dan and Dino like to share these posts. This could be reason 1; major league pop. Maybe I will make it Reason 9. But seriously folks if you crave having a life, join Triberr. If you crave passive traffic. Join Triberr.

Triberr is not a cure-all; you need to create content and make buddies and solve problems and persist and do all that fun stuff, too.....but if you are willing to share freely, connect with your Tribe-mates and persist using the network you can reap the astounding benefits of the networking tool known as Triberr.

I had no idea what Triberr was about a year ago. Honest to goodness. I heard good things about the network but never explored it much. One day someone suggested joining up; I did. Since then things have been rosy.

OK, a little hiccup for a few months, as I needed to switch up blogs due to conflict of content style - this boys and girls, is what we call "full disclosure" - but honest to goodness, Dino, Dan and the whole Triberr crew have been uber helpful supportive, responsive, and they run a smart organization. "Smart", meaning, yeah they get it.

Reason 1: Reach 24 Million People

OK. My reach expands to 24 million people. This basically means my online business content pops up in front of a jillion ("J") prying eye balls. Which means I can sleep.

Right now at 11:10 PM on a Sunday I write because the week is uber busy for me. Plenty of people to see. 7 days from now I will be about halfway over the Pacific Ocean. Yep, traveling itch, as I will be flying from New York JFK to Beijing, then Bangkok, then Kathmandu, Nepal. That my friends is why I Triberr. During the flight a bunch of my buddies will be sharing my content.

Moo. A cow in our backyard in Nuevo Arenal, Costa Rica. Frequent visitor. Solo visitor. She lost her tribe.

Auto-pilot traffic because a ton of people promote you. Good deal. Good money. Good Triberr.

Reason 2: Access a Supportive Network

Triberr users rock. Really. Each Triberr-mate I know supports buddies. Online business entrepreneurs succeed if supported by a network of high energy, helpful friends.

If you have ever joined tribes in the past you know how quickly these groups can fall apart. I joined more than 1 dead tribe. Yep, the type of group where everybody starts out generous, and giving, then looks out for their own selfish interests lickity split, stops promoting people, stops commenting on posts and whammo, the tribe becomes an army of rugged individuals. I love that mention, never dreamed I would use it in a Triberr post.

How can you access support? Tweet 'em on Twitter or shoot 'em a message on Triberr, or email them. Both Dan and Dino have been uber supportive, helpful and responsive.

BTW, "Dan" is Dan Cristo, and "Dino" is Dino Dogan.

Reason 3: Ease of Sharing

No more manual sharing. No more manual tweeting. Click a button. Share posts to multiple networks. We are on the run. All busy online business entrepreneurs. So, if you want to make money online and build relationships and share value and connect with leaders and travel and do whatever you want to do, learn how to automate.

Triberr makes it easy to automate. If I am busy - and I am now - I pop in, read a post, click the "Share" button and I am golden. Easy, peasy.

Reason 4: Expand Your Network Quickly

24 million reach. Think about it. The people I meet on Triberr know people, who know people, through each of their social networks. This is good. Really good. Imagine a spider web branching out. I spotted one on the way to the library. Big ole' web. Reaching out about 6 feet in diameter. I was impressed. I only saw webs that large in Southeast Asia. Not bad for Jersey.

Really Big Spider. She created a really big web. I evaded it. And her. Manual Antonio National Park, Costa Rica.

But anyway that spider will snag whatever it wants. Too big of a web NOT to snag critters.

Well you snag no one. You create and connect. But imagine your Triberr, twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn web expanding through some 24 million users? Imagine how many people you could connect with? Imagine your growth? Imagine, imagine, imagine.

Expand your network quickly. Join Triberr.

Reason 5: Auto Pilot Sharing

Auto pilot sharing rocks. Again, I travel. A lot. While I cruise over some large body of water tweets go out and LinkedIn updates inform of my buddies of the latest and greatest online business developments, or social media developments, or internet marketing developments, or developments helping folks to make money online while on the road.

Automation keeps you sane. Trust me. I tried the 18 hour a day thing. Manual updates. Manually commenting on 45 blogs daily and sharing content. Running out of time sucks. Automating helps you avoid the suckiness of running out of time. Tribe it.

Reason 6: Intuitive Design

Triberr designers nailed it. Use intuitive, easy to navigate pages for expanding your presence. Right now I am scrolling down my tribal stream. Yep snagging ideas. I can share posts in a second, skim through titles, soak up previews. I can visit tribes, ask to join, comment on posts, read posts through Triberr, visit blogs, all quickly, easily and painlessly.

Reason 7: Get Noticed

I get noticed. 24 million reach. You can get noticed too. The recipe: write kick-butt content. Like, before writing this posts, I say to myself: "I somebody googled "Triberr", and found this post, after reading they should be set. No need to look anywhere else."

This involves writing a thorough post, a complete post, not to make it long, for the sake of making it long, but to cover all bases, to provide a resource, to help.

OK after writing kick-butt content people share the content. Influential people. People who rock, who can expand your presence quickly, who can change your online business pronto. Triberr gets you noticed. Fast.

Reason 8: Connect with Influencers

OK this dove-tails on 7 but Triberr is "Home of Influencers" so I had to mention it. Branding props to D and D. No not Dungeons and Dragons. You know who runs the site by now.

Reason 9: Free, Prime Lite and Premium Versions Available.

You can join Triberr for free. Or you can join at the Prime Light level or at the premium level for some major league juice. The point is this: whether you want to promote 2 blogs, or 4 blog, or 7 blogs, or whether you want to run 3, 7 or 12 tribes, you have the options through Triberr.

The free version rocks. I use it. But the paid versions can give you serious juice at a reasonable price. You cannot help but to prosper if you fork over a few extra dollars.

The Final Verdict

Have I made a convincing argument? I think so. Join Triberr for free. Learn the network. Connect. Create. Comment. Share. After taking your baby for a test spin you can upgrade if you would like. One note; Triberr works if you work. Share aggressively, comment and put out kick butt content to get the most out of the network.

Do you use Triberr? Why? Why not?

How can you better use the network?

How do you get the most out of Triberr?

7 Tips for Moving from a Poverty Consciousness to Prosperity Consciousness

Rewind 4 years. I remember being mortified after receiving a threatening phone call from a collection agency, informing me that my creditors were suing me. At the time I was about $50,000 in debt after running up my credit card bills. I was distraught; embarrassed, angry, full of rage and humiliated about the financial chaos in my life.

Fast forward 4 years. In 8 days I am hopping a jet to the other side of the world. Life has changed. My online businesses grow daily. I still have some work to do in changing my mind from a poverty to a prosperity consciousness but all is well and improving quickly.

How did I go from having 4 pennies in my wallet - true story - to traveling the world? How did I get rid of aggressive collectors, replacing them with calls from people who have been inspired by my thrilling story? Tune in. Grab a coffee. Come join me as I explain.

1: Fall in Love with the Idea of Being Free

I remember walking through downtown Newark after filing for bankruptcy. I was disgusted but also felt free. The burden was lifted. I could now aggressively start an online business. I instantly fell in love with being free, visualizing myself traveling the world, living the dream.

Fall in love with the idea of being free.

2: Embrace Discomfort

If you follow tip 1, tip 2 becomes easier to embrace. All you want lies outside of your comfort zone. Are you heavily in debt, like I was? Financial freedom lies outside of your comfort zone. Swallow your pride, go bankrupt, or start making payments. Do what you gotta do to develop your prosperity consciousness and leave your poverty consciousness behind.

I remember being out with my friends one day. Everybody chipped in for pizza. I had no money in my wallet. I was not hungry, or so I said. Another defining moment that disgusted me and forced me to leave my comfort zone.

Embrace discomfort. Your suffering is a matter of clinging on to the old, comfortable, and worn out. Let go. Grow. Prosper.

3: Wow Yourself

Scroll down. Go ahead, I will be here when you return ;) Keep going until you see my inspirational eBook. OK, back? I hope you clicked on it and bought it, or at least shared it with your buddies. The guy who wrote 500 inspirational quotes in the book - and 1000 in total - was an uninspired, negative thinking, fired security officer. I was miserable. Unhappy.

But one day after meditating I received an idea....or series of ideas....to expand my online business reach. Write quotes. What quotes? These ones....and quote after quote hit my mind, and I typed 'em out, and after some research, I learned how to upload and format an ebook, for free, and my first eBook was published.

Wow yourself. I wowed myself the moment I thought of the idea and although I am humble, I still have to look back and see how far I came, and say, "Wow!"

Dazzle yourself. Do the impossible, to make it improbably, and then, a certainty.

4: Meditate Daily

Meditation reveals your true thoughts and feelings. I thought I was pretty positive after starting my online businesses. I thought I possessed a prosperity consciousness but after meditating for a few weeks for about 20 minutes daily I saw different. I feared going broke. I had a poverty consciousness because I worked from a place of fear, a place of lack, instead of working from a place of abundance, or faith in good things.

Sit quietly for 20 minutes daily. Focus on your breathing. Observe your thoughts and feelings. Be patient. Watch what really comes up, not what you are bullshitting yourself about, and you can face, embrace and release scared, poverty-conscious, lack and limitation type thoughts, and replace with prosperity conscious, wealthy thoughts.

After generating these thoughts you can move into wealthy acts and see wealthy results. See, look below....that is my fiancee Kelli and I chilling in gorgeous Nin Binh, Vietnam.

5: Associate with Wealthy People

You do not get rich by making a study of poverty. You move into a prosperity consciousness by associating with and studying how prospering people behave. The prospering crowd has plenty of money to do what they want, when they want to do it, so you can call this the happy, rich crowd.

Happy, rich people trained under happy, rich people. I immersed myself in "Think and Grow Rich", I listened to Bob Proctor CDs, taking notes and applying what I learned. After patiently using what I learned from wealthy people I moved out of debt and into my current internet lifestyle, allowing increasing amounts of money into my life.

6: Shut Down Your Laptop and Make Personal Development a Priority

This is tricky, but; how you think and feel, while you act, determines what actions you take, and the results you see are indicative of the actions you take. 98% to 99% of people on earth have no clue what they are thinking or how they are feeling for more than a few minutes or seconds daily, which is why 98% to 99% of people have little net worth, financially speaking.

When was the last time you saw a Ferrari commercial? Or a commercial for a Pagani Zonda? See what I mean? Most people - and again, I am learning myself - have absolutely no idea of how to become financially free because most people has no idea what they are thinking and feeling from moment to moment.

Spend 30 or more minutes daily on personal development, in addition to your 20 minutes of meditation time. Visualize. Affirm. Read books like "Think and Grow Rich", "The Science of Getting Rich", and "The Millionaires of Genesis", to expand your prosperity consciousness and broaden your awareness.

Truth serum will flow out of your mind, meaning that you begin to see your negative thought patterns, remove them, and replace with positive, prospering thought patterns.

On some days I spent 6 to 8 hours working on my mindset. I was that Effed up, lol! But it was worth it. Because I lived in Bali for 3 months, Thailand for a year and I just returned from a 2 month trip through Costa Rica. I live a dream but I worked like hell on my mental tools to make my dreams come true.

7: Take Full Responsibility for Your Life

No matter what, I owned it all. I own it all now because owning your life creates freedom in your life. No longer are you bound to people, situations, circumstances or the government, blaming outside conditions for your lot in life.

I owned my bankruptcy, I owned my lawsuits, and most importantly, when I was harshly criticized by people for making brave but freeing - and in other people's eyes, reckless - choices, I owned that too, convincing myself this was a price to pay for stepping away from the herd of sheeple to live my dream.

Summary

There you are guys. Whether you are struggling horribly to make ends meet, or to expand your online business, this gives you a solid framework through which you can move from a poverty consciousness, and continual failures, to a prosperity consciousness and winning. I hope you enjoyed my post :)

So, are you struggling financially?

What are you doing - and thinking, and feelings - to tune into abundance?

How can you better connect with your Higher Self to become happy, health and wealthy?

How to Get Over 254 Glowing LinkedIn Endorsements and Why this Builds Your Online Business

(OK missing 13 endorsements but they would not fit ;)

Why do you buy what you buy? Someone tells you to buy it. A friend. A family member. A trusted brand. Aha! Trust. The key word. The buzz word. The one word you absolutely, positively, must build your online business around. LinkedIn endorsements influence people to know, like and trust you.

I care not of a few skeptical opinions you might see here and there; if someone sees you maxed out at 99 endorsements for each skill set, or if you are snagging 50, 60 or more Big Ups per skill set, you make an impression. An impacts. Done deal.

Snagging endorsements grows your internet business, helps you make money online, increases your brand recognition and it can give you a little ego boost too ;) Nothing wrong with that.

I have 254 endorsements now. Due to grow any moment. How did I do it?

1: Be All Over

I am all over. I post frequently. I post frequently. I post frequently. Posting frequently makes you magnetic to people.

2: Respond to LinkedIn Likes

I was a dolt. Honest. I mean I offered online business tips by the boatload yet I ignored this simple, easy to follow, critical, relationship-building rule. I ignored Likes. Opportunity lost. But one day I decided to note Likes, to respond with a hearty "Thank You" to as many likes as possible then the TY crowd turned around and endorsed me for social media marketing, because I just proved that yep, I know the focal point of social.....engaging!

3: Endorse Others

Sow to reap. Sow to reap on LinkedIn. Get endorsements by giving endorsements. Get by giving. Help people. Get help. This 1 rule, if you follow it, changes your life for good. Give out what you seek. Share online business tips to receive online business tips, offer testimonials to receive testimonials.

No 1 for 1 deal here guys; give without strings attached. Sure you can ask for help after helping but do not adopt a conditional frame of mind. At least if you want to make the real internet business magic work.

Why?

Why? Why snag endorsements? Because each endorsement is a ringing testimonial, good money, trust-building, "this gal or guy must know what they are talking about" type stuff. No easier way to say it. I mentioned this up top. People buy based on trust. People help based on trust. Gain that trust. Use these tips. Rock it out.

Please watch the video.

8 Stupendous Online Business Lessons I Learned from Coca Cola

I am reading an interesting book now. The book eviscerates Coca Cola. So not the best online business read for generating good karma because Coke has some serious skeletons in its closet but at least I learned a few key lessons from what to do and more importantly, what not to do, to grow your online business.

CC is the monstrous brand ruling the universe. No brand comes close to dominating the world like Coca Cola; not McDonald's, not Apple, not IKEA. Nope, Coke has wrestled the mantle away from its competitors. Not only that, the company has sprinted away from the competition.

1: Sell a Delicious Dream

Coca Cola sells a delicious dream. No, not the sweet sticky sumptuous formula. Coke sells something beyond that. An experience. I remember drinking Coke at my grandparent's house as a kid. Ice cold Coke out of a glass bottle, old skool style. Naturally, I remember this experience in a positive light. Bingo! Always feels good to down a Coke because my memories of CC, rock.

2: Sell Happiness

I changed taglines on my blogs this morning after reading a few chapters of the book. Coke sells happiness. No, not just a dream, the company presents happiness through the product, meaning the product creates happiness before anything else. Sure a Coke tastes great, sweet, delightful, but the campaign slogans selling Coke as happiness make you happy to have a Coke, before you drink the Coke, if you know what I mean.

3: Spend a Fortune on Advertising

Coke spends countless billions of dollars to be all over the world. No more aggressive marketing campaign exists in the world. Coke is everywhere. I mean, I saw Coke machines in the jungles of Bali, in Laos, in Sri Lanka, in remote Costa Rican jungles. Insane, really. The power of marketing. If you have no fortune spend man - or woman - hours marketing your brand.

4: Do Damage Control When Necessary

Coke runs a monstrous PR machine. Or the monstrous organization hires out a massive PR machine. Damage control 101, for when accidents happen, and they do. Many people have been negatively affected by the world's most recognizable brand. This means the PR team jumps into action to defend reputations and keep brands shiny looking, and fresh, and positive. As an online business pro check out your online rep once in a while. What do people say about you? Keep your ear to the cyber street.

5: Now the Negative; Do Things from a Place of Good Karma

Coca Cola tastes great but the product is sugar water with coloring. 8 teaspoons of sugar in a can. Yikes. Change up the ratio a bit. Lighten up. OK, I get the branding deal, and taste, but marketing such an unhealthy product in a skillful fashion promotes obesity, disease and misery. We can drink or not drink Coke, I get it, but people in developing countries have little awareness as to what is healthy, what is not and what they should avoid. Coke is a treat, at best, not a daily drink.

Run a karmic online business. Do things from a high energy space. Avoid any urge to snag a quick buck. Help people. Do not hurt people.

6: Take Care of Accidents

Damage control goes beyond protecting your reputation. Coca Cola turned a blind eye to scores of union workers being killed by militants in Columbia, among other transgressions. The right thing to do was easy to see yet CC looked in the other direction. Monstrous organizations are subject to such incidents; accidents happen but CC can just as quickly do the right thing and address these accidents by fixing what needed to be fixed. Instead, the company has done a poor job addressing pressing issues with worker's rights.

Online business accidents happen. Address these incidents immediately. Mend broken relationships, help people who you have wronged.

7: Accept Criticism

The pit bull/watch dog attacking Coca Cola criticizes the entity like crazy. Officials seem to nod to some forms of criticism yet refuse to learn from the feedback or suggestions. Errors or mistakes are made over and over, as long as feedback is ignored. Same deal with your internet business; learning from criticism accelerates your growth. Ignoring criticism impedes your progress.

8: Do Not Drink Coke after 10 PM

This is the most brutal lesson. It is 5:11 AM and I have been up all night. Too much caffeine.

Do you drink Coke?

Why?

What lessons did you learn from this post?

What lessons did you learn about your online business?

Water Buffalo in Phong Nha Vietnam

Kelli and I fell in love with our short visit to the homestay in Phong Nha, Vietnam. We spent our mornings and evenings overlooking gorgeous farmland and for 1 day, well, we:

  • swam through a pitch dark cave
  • kayaked our way to the cave
  • saw some neat, rare monkeys
  • ate tasty fare
  • snapped images of some of the most beautiful mountain views you could ever imagine

The Vietnamese people were amazingly friendly. We heard mixed reviews before traveling; the people in Vietnam are gruff, much less friendly than your SE Asian neighbors. Nothing could be farther from the truth. People in Vietnam stopped to ask us if we were lost. We also received many hugs after explaining that we were from the USA. Imagine that? ;) Anyway, Kelli and I enjoyed our stay so much in central Vietnam that the short period flew by in what seemed hours.

We were greeted by the above view shortly after arriving at the home stay. Plenty of cattle, and ducks. After a while we grabbed a bite to eat, did a little bit of work then off to bed. Thank goodness for mosquito nets as we were really off the grid in this spot. Us, and farmland, and plenty of critters.

The next day we were off to Ke Bang National Park. We saw some of the more impressive caves I have ever come across. Monstrous caverns. Deep jungle. Very much like the Jurassic Park movies. After swimming through a pitch-black cavern; trust me, it was....we headed back to our room.

After a solid night's sleep we were off to Northern Vietnam. Ninh Binh to be exact.

Honestly, I had so many interesting images of Vietnam in mind, I never really imagined the country looking like it did. I saw all of the famous Vietnam War movies in the States. Yep, all the classics, so I really built an image based on Hollywood sets and locations which were some other jungle tropical paradise.

Really neat spot. So many more rice fields than I could have imagined and as I noted, this place was off the grid in a major league way.

If you have never been to Vietnam I suggest you pay a visit ASAP. Or as soon as your budget and time demands allow it. Travel is cheap. Lodging is cheap. The most you will pay is covering the airfare from Western Countries into Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. But overall, an affordable, enjoyable experience.

We visited: Hoi An, HCM City, Hanoi, Phong Nha and Ninh Binh. All fun spots with a little different vibe. Hanoi and HCM City are absolute zoos in some areas and calm, peaceful paradises in other spots. Ninh Binh was perhaps the most gorgeous spot we soaked up during our trip through Vietnam.

In the shot above we saw the workhouse of Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia; the water buffalo. Unfortunately, many water buffalo in these countries are meeting a sad end to a butcher's knife as machinery is taking over their job but more and more people are trying to go the traditional route, using the water buffalo to work the farms.

We would see water buffalo walking along the street in the fun beach enclave of Hoi An, Vietnam. Absolutely mammoth, gigantic beasts. I remember one bull in Hoi An, in particular, who rivaled those giants I saw on nature shows, beating up lions on the African plains. This bad boy weighed in the ton/tons category. What a specimen! I was motivated to do a few quick push ups after seeing this chap lol :)

But the buffalo in the above photo were situated in a different spot. We were told many of the farmers who worked the above fields had a terrible growing season. Some went days without eating. The chief crop was a "terrible tasting" root vegetable. Since the farmers had a poor crop they could not afford to eat the few remaining veggies which had to be sold, no matter what.

I am motivated to succeed online and share my blessings with many of the people in Vietnam and SE Asia. People who work like animals, smile, yet have so little. The folks there were so accepting of their lot in life which is both good and bad. Good, from an enlightened perspective. Bad, in that the crowds of people living in poverty never realize there is another way, a better way, through which the crowd can prosper.

I hope to spread awareness through philanthropy as I grow my online businesses. I really believe that all the people in this world can prosper. Nobody need struggle amid abundance. I hope you believe this too. Maybe we can work together to expand the collective awareness of the Universe, to help people prosper, to help people open channels of abundance.

Are you with me? I hope so :)

We enjoyed our stay so much we cannot wait to get back.

5 Reasons Why I Never Comment on Your Blog

I love commenting. Building relationships, getting traffic, serious backlink juice flowing in, all this stuff makes me happy. Sometimes I am prevented from leaving a comment. So, opportunity lost for me.....and you ;) Getting comments rocks. Many blogging tips teach you how to get comments but not as many folks explain why you rarely get comments, or why people never comment on your blog.

Enter this post ;)

I mean look at that churlish character above hahaha....of course I am happy, just had to snap it for this post. But you might lose a TON of strong, solid backlinks, along with extra content - comments are content, ya know - if you rarely get comments on your blog. No need to build your campaign around getting comments; just make it easy to comment, and you are good to go.

1: Captcha

Garbage. Or, not good lol.....each second of my day, ok, maybe a bit much, but each hour of my day proceeds according to sked. If something fumbles me - like dealing with the dreaded C word - I move on, or remember to never comment there again in the future after posting this comment.

Deal with spam. Delete it. Never use the C word lol.....

2: Crickets

If nobody else leaves comments or if you never respond I will avoid commenting on your blog.

3: No Questions

Someone should ask questions to receive answers, right? Makes sense to me. Ask questions to get answers. If I am rarely or never engaged I move on to a blog fostering a large, growing, supportive community, where commenting is encouraged. This is a much better look for ya, methinks ;) Asking ?, answering, commenting....right?

4: Google Plus Comments

Yuck. I want my backlink juice!

5: Facebook Comments

Yuck. I want my backlink juice!

What reasons can you add to this list? Why do you avoid commenting on blogs?

1 Internet Business Tip for the Ages

1 Internet Business Tip for the Ages by Ryan Biddulph

Skeptics Imprison Themselves

Skeptics only hurt themselves. You win no rewards for being skeptical. Why? Because open-minded yet discerning people learned the great secret of life; be open to opportunities to grow quickly.

Skeptics close minds and lose opportunities. Who cares if you dismiss everything? Does that seem cool? World changers never imprison themselves, remaining open to any opportunity that comes along.

You can always say "No" after assessing, right?
